Exchange Rates PDF Print E-mail

Exchanging Currency?

Banks and other institutions charge consumers a fee for currency conversions. Their fee is built into the exchange rate which is why your real rate will be different from these market rates shown above. Consumers can typically expect to pay 2-4% when exchanging currency in small amounts "over the counter". You can expect to take more of a hit - paying 7 to 9% - at retail outlets or in "convenience" locations like airports. You'll likely get the best rate from your bank or a foreign exchange company. Converting larger amounts will generally yield better rates though discounts are not generally available for exchanged amounts below $10,000.

INSTRUCTIONS: Enter the amount to be converted and the intial currency. Then select the currency you wish the intial amount to be converted into. The result will be shown below after you click the "Convert Button".

Previously obscure LGUs get to showcase their indigenous culture and strengths in eco-tourism, instantly giving them a world presence and opportunity for growth.
