FUNCTIONS: Formulate integrated economic, social, physical and health development plans and policies; Conduct training programs for implementation; Integrate and coordinate with different agencies for the delivery of the basic health programs of the government; Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the different programs/activities in the municipality; Prepare the Municipal Health Plan and Budget; Promote people participation through Primary Health Care Activities; Develop the capability of health personnel on a continuous basic education through formal teaching, seminar, staff meeting, regular participation in all health activities;
OBJECTIVES:
To improve the health and welfare of the municipality through sustained community participation, collaborative efforts with all government and non-government agencies and integration of the preventive, curative, rehabilitative health care services; To help in establishing systematic procedures in the management and administration of the local government unit.
