INVITATION TO BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF MATERIALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF DRAINAGE CANAL WITH CURB AND GUTTER LANAO BRGY. ZONE I

1. The Municipal Government of Pinamalayan through itsBRGY. DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM intends to apply the sum of One Hundred Ninety Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety Five Pesos ( Php 199,995.00 ) being Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) for the Purchase of Materials for the Construction of Drainage Canal with Curb & Gutter Lanao – Brgy. Zone I.Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected to bid opening.
2. Municipal Government of Pinamalayan now invites bids for the delivery of the following:

Delivery of the above Materials is required within fifteen (15) days after the signing of the contract. Bidders should have completed, within one (1) year from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section 2. Instruction to Bidders.
3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.
Bidding is open to all interested bidders, whether local or foreign, subject to the conditions for eligibility provided in the IRRA of RA 9184
4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Office of the Bids and Awards Committee at the and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be secured by interested bidders from September 30, 2011 to October 13, 2011– 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM from the address below.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or beforeOctober 14, 2011 at 2:00 PM. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18 as follows:

Bid opening shall be on October 14, 2011 – 2:00 PM at the Mayor’s Office Extension, Municipality of Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepte
7. The Municipal Government of Pinamalayan reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
